Few days ago at DEF CON in Las Vegas, hackers gathered with out there outfit - getting their hair Mohawk with wearing T-Shirts, jeans, sneakers and other uneven accessories. Many said it was such a weird since computer geeks are usually out with their conventional shirt, fine haircut, and clean look. But it was not a thing we should be surprised to though.
Hackers are frequently the main characters in cyberpunk, a postmodern and science fiction genre noted for its focus on "high tech and low life. As protagonists, they make use of their skill and intelligence to defeat their enemies and/or protecting the world. The term cyberpunk itself gets its own history.
Cyberpunk is the portmanteau from cybernetics and punk. Cybernetics actually means a system theory, including the regulatory and such. In the computer field, cybernetics covers technological approach of managing cyberspace. While punk is a lifestyle rooted in the 1970s in the British and the U.S.
Do It Yourself, that is the motto of Punkers. Their appearance of distorted yet unique fashions often catches public's pros and cons. Mostly, the punkers reject casual life of people in large to live in full independence and freedom.
Considering that brief view of cyberpunk, then it is no need to be so hectic seeing the hackers' style. Their outfit at the gathering even highlighted their actual nature as people who create their own world.
Their ability to maintain computer programs and all the attributes really require spirit of the self. Yeah, in the cyberspace, speed always moves on and on. So the hackers must refresh and upgrade their creativity to keep up with the limitless pace.
So like punkers with in Mohawk, the hackers' life has no boundaries that can stop them from cracking data and creating new ways of spying.
