FaceBook Messenger App to Hit All Messenger Services?

BBM is a trendsetter. All manufacturers should concede what RIM has done was terrifically brilliant. Now FaceBook tries to cut the glory. Releasing a new messenger app, which can be applied on BBM, Google+ and even iMessage, means a campaign that FaceBook beats its rivals with satisfying speed.

FaceBook Messenger app as a standalone app will work on both iPhone and Android. This service will feature text aggregating, emails, chats and instant messages. You can send messages to all of your Facebook friends and even everyone in your address book by delivering them text.

If BBM kills that Short Messaging Service among BlackBerry users, then FaceBook Messenger app would kill all messaging services provided by manufacturers. FaceBook wants sending a message comes easier than using SMS, and this app even helps you reach the person right away. If you get the point, it's like you "touch" the person first, and when he or she pays attention to your notification, you can choose whether it is okay to send him an email or just text message.

RIM and Apple are ready to counter this Facebook's attack. And, we'll see which side to win the battle. BBM is now integrated into other BlackBerry apps, while Apple is ready to release the new iOS5 that is able to facilitate a messaging system that is planned to use across iDevices. Google has made its Google+ social service named Huddle, which allows both Android and iPhone users communicate one-to-one or in group as long as they have Google contacts.

Let’s just see how the battle will be!
