Almost everybody around the planet knows Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Google+, and many lists out there. Staying connected with friends or acquaintance, sharing ideas, links, interests, or even just ravening whatsoever in virtual ground is such a fun.
Therefore for some people, looking so “exist” is a must either in the reality or cyberspace. Especially in the cyberspace, where you can be whatever you want, fake or true, nice or funny, now there is one more social network that you can use to prove your influence among your friends through Facebook and/or Twitter. It is Klout, where your existence is scored and measured.
To get connected with Klout, first of all you must sign up or sign in by using your Facebook or Twitter account. Then, you may like the Klout's link on the Facebook or follow it @klout on Twitter. After signing in, Klout offers option of inviting your friends. If you think it is not so necessary or you do not think so for now, just skip it. Then, this is it: your score of influence is presented with the development chart month by month.
Klout measures influence by using data points from Twitter, such as: following count, follower count, retweets, list memberships, etc. The data is combined with your Facebook's such as comment, likes, and the number of friends. The score is range 1 to 100.
The measurement can do you good to impress your friends or followers by showing up good image you have. But it can also be dangerous especially if there is someone is spying you.
It is better not to over expose your existence in the virtual world. Having a Klout account is not a bad idea. However, it is better to use it as a private archive just to review what progress have you done these days.
